“We had a lovely meal with family at the Jug & Glass, we all had the beef dinner, it was really good, the gravy was delicious. Plus a variety of desserts and drinks, the bill came to just over 40 pounds for four people. Great value for money.There’s a homely atmosphere though it does get busy.I would advise booking a table in advance as it’s not vast..Outside the grounds are very picturesque with two arms of the river Poulter running past, and greens where you can picnic or just sit and watch the world go by.”
